about us

We’re a graphic design studio that works like a garage shop—hands-on, detail-driven, and not afraid to get dirty. We specialize in branding, merch, print, and marketing design for churches, small businesses, and folks who are building something that matters. We’ve rolled up our sleeves alongside clients like Kraft-Heinz, Elevation Church, Awestruck, and Keowee Creative Co. to create work that doesn’t just look good—it holds up.

Rooted in Arizona, we draw from what we know: faith, family, hard work, and a deep respect for the craft. Around here, nothing’s phoned in. Every project is sketched, built, and refined with care—like a piece of gear you plan on using for years. We even design for ourselves to stay sharp—stickers, print, gear—because if it’s not being used, it’s just decoration.

We are BlackCat Media. Design with grit, built to last.

Our Team

  • Julio Suarez | Owner & Creative Director

Arizona born and raised. Self-taught with over a decade in the game—and another decade before that just learning how to make things look right. Julio is the hands-on type. He sketches it, builds it, and sees it through. No fluff, no farming it out. Just honest, crafted design rooted in faith, family, and a blue-collar mindset. He brings grit to the white-collar world—mixing creative instinct with the kind of craftsmanship that lasts. Think hand tools, well-worn sketchbooks, and a soft spot for anything made of leather and steel.

  • Brylee Suarez | Studio Manager

She keeps the wheels turning. As BlackCat’s Studio Manager, Brylee handles the behind-the-scenes details that make everything run smooth—from lead generation and scheduling to project flow and client communication. She’s the calm in the chaos, the master of timelines, and the reason things don’t fall through the cracks. Also happens to be Julio’s better half.

  • Milo | Studio Supervisor

Resident mascot, midday nap enthusiast, and unofficial art director. Milo’s usually found wherever the warmest patch of sunlight is—occasionally walking across a keyboard or offering unsolicited creative feedback. He doesn’t do much, but somehow still runs the place.
